gnome-sharp2 software package provides GNOME# 2.24 suite, CLI bindings for GNOME, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnome-sharp2
gnome-sharp2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnome-sharp2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnome-sharp2 *
You will get with gnome-sharp2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
